Many witches/wiccans keep written records of their craft. These include spells, rituals, magical correspondences, herb lore and other relevant magical information. This book is called the Book of Shadows. There is also a Book of Mirrors, which is similar to a journal/diary but more about the spiritual side of life. As a Book of Shadows is meant to keep your magical secrets the Book of Mirrors is meant to help us reflect on our progress, magical workings and life path.
